The Administrative Board controls and monitors the daily management of CENELEC and defines the orientation of the policies. It is led by the President, Mr. Dietmar Harting.

The 47th General Assembly held in Cyprus in June 2007 and the Extraordinary General Assembly held on 12 December 2007 in Brussels elected our new Board Members.  As a transition, CENELEC will count 10 Board Members in 2008 until it is fully completed and conformed to the New governance in 2009 when the CA will count 13 Members.

As from 1 January 2008, the CA composition is as follows:

CENELEC Vice Presidents and Board Members are elected for a renewable two-year term, and CENELEC President is elected for a three-year term and must serve one year as President-elect.
